Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTOPHER DUTKO It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved son Christopher Dutko, on July 30, 2002. Chris was born in Neepawa Memorial Hospital October 9, 1974. He attended Eden School until grade 9, then Minnedosa Collegiate where he graduated from grade 12 in Power Mechanics. Chris was active in and enjoyed ski-dooing, motorcycling, hockey, racing, fishing and water-skiing. He worked at Petro Canada in tire sales and repair and would get many calls for advice on cars, motorcycle, ski-doos and lawn mowers. Chris was always there for his family and friends and more than willing to lend a hand. Chriss pride and joy were his niece Katie and nephew Bryan, always giving them the time, care and love every child needs. From them he received unconditional love. Chris was also very proud of his sister Renee. They were always there for each other. He loved her sense of humour, her endless energy and most of all her words of wisdom and she is the best mother any child could have. Chris was predeceased by his grandfather Walter Paswisty; great-grandparents, Rose and Frank Gutoski; Jean Crabbe and Annie and Steve Dutko. Chris is survived by his parents, Allan and Janis; his sister Renee Black (Randy) niece Katie and nephew Bryan; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Chris did not want to leave this way. He always said he just wanted a simple life. Christ struggled with depression so severe, in spite of seeking medical and other methods of help. Chris reached the point where he could not face another broken promise, another dream that would never be. We miss and love you Chris and wish you were here. Funeral service for Chris was held Saturday, August 3 at 2:00 p.m. from the Neepawa United Church, with Rev. George Cargo officiating. Interment followed at Neepawa Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kevin White, Steve Pegoski, Dallas Rose, Chris Owens, Trent Wagner and Matt McLaughlin. Ushers were Larry and Michelle Paswisty. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christophers memory to the Mood Disorder Association of Manitoba, 50 Wascana Dr., Brandon, MB. You took us for three wheel rides even in the muck. You played dolls and trucks now we are out of luck You would come over for lunch We would have soup and candy Boy, we thought that was dandy When you left the house we cried Now we are told youre gone But we dont understand why Love Bryan and Katie Chris, a mother and her child have a special bond and even in death that bond can never be broken. Love Mom Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight!
