Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH ROLAND CADOTTE It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Roland at the Victoria Hospital on Thursday, August 22, 2002. Roland leaves to mourn his children, Larry, Barbara of Toronto, Maureen (Larry) Votto and Paul; his grandchildren, Clayton, Ashley and Amber Votto, Ryan, Collin and Dianna Cadotte; and great-grandson Joshua Votto. He also leaves his brothers, Johnny of Prince George, BC, Eugene; sisters, Fernande and Yvonne all of Winnipeg; his companion and friend Ilonka Neufeld; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Roland was predeceased by his beloved wife Linda (1959), son Marcel (1953), brother Marcel (1926), father Ferdinand (1945), brother Ralph (1959) and his mother Marie (1971). He was born in St. Pierre, MB on May 26, 1925. Our father was given many obstacles in his life and always showed great strength, courage and a willingness to survive. His joys were his family and friends. He loved travelling and the occasional trip to the racetrack. Well miss you Dad! The family would like to thank the staff of Victoria Hospital ICU and 3rd and 5th floor nurses. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., with viewing prior to the service at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, August 27 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. A reception will follow. Interment will take place at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton, Ashley and Amber Votto; Ryan, Collin and Dianna Cadotte. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Paraplegic Association (Manitoba Division), Room 211-825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5.
