Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHERMANN PAUL MOCHE Died peacefully on August 20, 2002 at the age of 88. Born on July 6, 1914 in Penzig (O/L), Germany, and having achieved a profession as a master watchmaker, he immigrated in 1952 to Winnipeg from Berlin, Germany with his wife, Editha and three children, and continued his profession with Silverman Jewelers, Birks, and Independent Jewelers. Editha predeceased him on October 11, 1970. He is now survived by: his three children, Angela Orthodoxou, Clemens and Matthias Moche; his three grandchildren, Mark Orthodoxou, Andrea Storei and Marlene Sabrina Moche; and his sister Frieda Moche, a nun at the Annunziatakloster in Eichgraben, Austria. Hermann leaves a legacy of having been a kind, hard working and completely dedicated family man who will be dearly missed as the family patriarch. Throughout most of his life in Winnipeg, he also served in, and supported, the Kolping Society of Winnipeg. Hermann lived a full life that had its share of hardships but these were eclipsed by the predominant good years. We all wish him a rewarding journey and thank him for all his sacrifices, generosity, love and wise guidance that he liberally bestowed upon his family. Also, on behalf of, and in gratitude to, all his surviving friends and acquaintances who touched his life and made it more memorable, we bid him a final farewell. A funeral service will be held for him in St. Josephs Church at 355 Andrews on August 27 at 10:00 am.
