Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDOUARD LAVALLEE Surrounded by his wife and children, Edouard passed away on August 23, 2002. The Lord was gracious, he did not suffer long. LAbbe Antoine Vo Van Hoa gave Last Rites which were gracefully received by Dad. Edouard was predeceased by his mother Alphonsine McCrae; his father Joseph Lavallee; his brother Hector; his sister Annette; his three sons, Marc, Rene-Olivier, Rene and his grandson, Jean-Marie. Edouard was born in McKague, SK on March 26, 1919. Only a thin veil separates us from Dads sight. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Gertrude (Roy) his children, Berthe (Louis Palud), Annette (Rheal Robert), Nicole (Victor Young), Marcelle (Richard Chamberlain), Alain (Pat Simpson), Lise (Denis Lemay) daughter-in-law Diane (Frank Woodward) along with 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; his sister Hortense; sisters-in-law, Marie-Therese, Agnes, Clara, Adrienne, Germaine; brother-in-law Monsignor Raymond Roy. Dad took pride in the work he did as a road maintainer of 28 years for the R.M. of Montcalm. Throughout his life, the Knights of Columbus was his passion. In later years, Dads artistic endeavours shone through in his wood carvings of wildlife. His favourite pastimes were hunting, fishing and bricolage. Dad was an avid gardener at Chalet St. Norbert, where he found solace in nature. According to Dads wishes, cremation has taken place and a Resurrection Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Eglise St. Norbert, 80 rue St. Pierre, St. Norbert, MB. A private family internment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to the charity of their choice. Youve made it to the Summit Youve raised "the Bar" Now your loved ones Forever shall try Your footsteps to tread and remember. Goodbye Dad - We love you.
