DELIA DAUTEUIL (nee Trudeau) Passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, August 24, 2002 at Foyer Valade, at the age of 94. Delia leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Sara Dufault, Jeanne dAuteuil; two brothers, Zacharie Trudeau (Therese), Jerome Trudeau (Anna) also her in-laws, Thais and Joseph Poirier, Yvette and Emile Bertrand, Isidore and Jeanne dAuteuil, Fereol and Rita dAuteuil, Jacqueline dAuteuil. She is predeceased by her husband Joel dAuteuil and her son Jean-Charles. Delia taught school for four years at St. Joseph Orphanage and three years in native missions, for which she had a great passion. She demonstrated her devotion to her parish by playing the organ at church for 42 years. Delia was chosen by her parish to receive communion from Pope John Paul II during his last visit to Manitoba. Later in life she directed her time and energy into a book about the history of her community. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-la Misericorde, Ile des Chenes, MB. Viewing will be one half hour prior to funeral mass. Interment to follow in Ile des Chenes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Foyer Valade, 450 River Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2M 5M4. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
