Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND LEONARD Peacefully, on Friday, August 23, 2002, Raymond Leonard passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 80. Ray was a loving husband, father and grandfather (Grump) to his wife Beth Ilott; daughter Suzanne (Derek) Johnston and their children, Douglas (Nicole), Darlene (Bruce) Rogers and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Melanie, Breanne and Brendan; his sons, Mervyn (Inge) and Barry; sister Evelyn Fedyshen; stepchildren, Mary Beth (Jim) Anderson, Dave (Nancy) Ilott, Kent (Shirley) Ilott, Adele Ilott, Jim Ilott, Ross (Michele) Ilott, Faye Abu Samra, Allan Ilott and Mark (Serena) Ilott; step-grandchildren, Gillian and Candice Anderson, Josh Ilott, Kyle and Allison Ilott, Jordan Ilott, Samarra Abu Samra and Kadin Ilott as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by his sister Gladys and his brothers-in-law, Harvey and Edward. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 29 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6 or to the St. James-Assiniboia Seniors Centre, 118-2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 0L3. Time goes by so fast and it is almost another year without you Dad. I know you are watching over me. I miss the talks we used to have, all the stories you would tell of growing up in the dirty thirties, your service in the RCAF during WW11.
