DORIS HELEN WADDELL (nee SCOBIE) Peacefully, after a brief illness on Saturday, August 24, 2002 at Victoria General Hospital. Doris was born in Calgary and raised in Orion, AB. She served in the RCAF from 1943 until 1945 and then moved to Winnipeg. She was employed at the Federal Building on Main Street in the income tax department. Doris married James Archibald Waddell on August 5, 1950 in Little Britain United Church. Sadly, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Jim on November 22, 1980. She is survived by her loving sister Sandyne and husband Floyd Terriff of Surrey, BC; sister-in-law Mildred Johnston of Little Britain, MB; and by many nieces and nephews. At Doris request, a private family service will be held. The family is very grateful to her many wonderful friends and for the excellent care she received during her stay in the hospital.
