EDWARD J. HAMMOND Peacefully, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2002, at the Toronto General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joan; his two daughters, Frances and Linda (of Montreal) and one grandson (Mishka) two nieces, Janet (of Victoria), Darlene (of Winnipeg) and a nephew Tom. Formerly of Winnipeg, Ed was born on March 21, 1929. He was predeceased by his father Ralph Easton Hammond, his mother Betty and brother Ralph Edward. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Edwards name.
