LUCILLE AMELIA JANIS On Sunday, August 25, 2002 our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Lucille passed away in her 81st year. Lucille was predeceased by her husband Michael, sister Virginia and grandson Chris. She is survived by her six children, Mickey (Lorraine), Bob (Jacqueline), Lorna (Allan), Terri (Vic), Diane, Tim (Wendy) and 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brothers, Henry (Nettie) Kowbel, Robert Kowbel, Richard Kowbel; and sister Alice (Ted) Zapp; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Lucille was a lifelong member of St. John Cantius Parish and CWL. She and husband Michael fulfilled their familys committment to the church and community. Lucille was a strong believer in the values, strengths and richness of each individual. She believed that all people regardless of colour or creed could excel beyond adversity. Lucille loved life with all its challenges and rewards. Her favourite saying was "Its not where you live, its how you live". Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30 at St. John Cantius Parish, 846 Burrows Ave., Rev. Fr. H. Uczniak presiding.
