EDNA PHYLLIS SCHNELL Peacefully at Riverview Health Centre on Sunday, August 25, 2002. Edna was predeceased by her husband Clarence. Edna is survived by her sons, Les, Kolynn, Brad (Pat) her grandchildren; great grandchild and her sister Elma. Edna was born in Brunkild on March 29, 1929. She resided in Brunkild, Stuartburn and Sanford, caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Edna enjoyed visiting family and friends and travelling whenever possible. She liked working with people. Her job as a telephone operator and health care worker, brought many lasting friendships. She also enjoyed helping in the community and church. She will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit. Funeral service will be held from the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Brunkild, MB, on Thursday, August 29 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Peter Mitchell and Pastor Mark Hughes officiating. Interment will take place in the Sanford Cemetery, Sanford, MB. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 0S6.
