EDNA WOOLER On Sunday August 25, 2002, Edna passed peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital. Born in Altona, MB, on January 26, 1949, the daughter of Isaac and Susan Hiebert. She was baptized and received as a member of the Altona Evangelical Mennonite Mission Church. Educated in Altona, she later moved to Winnipeg. Her career took her to the University of Manitoba as an administrative assistant in the Department of Agriculture and later as assistant to the Associate Deans in the Faculty of Education. Most recently, since December 1997, she was employed as communications coordinator at BF Workplace. In March of 1988 she married Nigel Wooler; they enjoyed many interests and hobbies in common. With both being avid squash players, Edna would frequently be found knitting behind a squash court somewhere, whilst supporting her husband. Always active in her pursuits her creativeness and energy was a source of wonder to many who knew her (including her husband). Edna predeceased by her father Isaac, leaves to cherish her memory, husband Nigel; mother Susan; brothers, Dave and Dan; sisters, Dorothy, Irene and Elsie; nieces and nephews and extended families. She will also be missed by many friends and associates. In remembrance, a celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Gospel Mennonite Church, 232 Nassau St. N.
