Wiens, formerly of Niverville, MB, passed away at the Victoria Hospital in at the age of 95 years. He is survived by his wife Katherine (nee Sawatzky). His sons, Jake (Rita), Leonard (Jeanne) and his daughters, Mary (Howard) Enns, Tina Klippenstein, Helen (Ralph) Johnson and their families. The funeral service will be held at the Word of Life Church in Niverville, MB on Thursday, August 29, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Niverville Cemetery. Memorial donations in Jacobs memory may be made to Union Gospel Mission, P.O. Box 1073 Station Main, Winnipeg R3C 2X4 or to a charity of ones choice.
