WILHELMINA (ENA) ROSS (nee SCARTH) A resident of Victoria, BC passed away peacefully at Glengarry Hospital on August 26, 2002. Ena was a long-time resident of Manitoba. Born in Binscarth July 15, 1906, this is where she spent her early years. Ena taught in rural schools around Binscarth and Rivers, then at Salisbury School in East Kildonan. Retiring to Victoria in 1971. She had resided at Angusville, Pointe du Bois, Waskada, Benito, Melita, Tilston, Rivers and Winnipeg, MB, also Wakaw, SK. Ena was predeceased by her husband Evans in 1987. She is survived by son David (Holly) of Dauphin, MB; two daughters, Muriel McKay of Nanaimo, BC and Vivian (Charles) Lepla of St. Rose du Lac, MB; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law Vivian and husband Denarnold of Winnipeg; plus numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at Braendle-Bruce Funeral Chapel in Russell, MB on October 12 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Binscarth Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends desire donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
