Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJENNY RUDY August 05, 1912 - August 28, 2002 On Wednesday, August 28, with deep sadness, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother after a lengthy illness. Jenny will be lovingly remembered and missed by daughters, Hilda Gowler, Vera (Fred) Wilson; son Ed (Arelene) Rudy; sister Olga Enns; grandchildren, Debbie (Les), Randy (Darlene), Cindy (Jerald) and Darcy (Brian) great-grandchildren, Tracy, Raymond, Tyson, Brant, Rylee, Easton, Jessica, Nicole and Dean. She was predeceased by husband Jacob (Jake) grandson Terry; son-in-law Albert; brother John and sister Lena. Jenny was born in Halbstadt, Russia, came to Canada in 1924 and was married to Jacob in 1928. They farmed in Poplar Point for 28 years. Jenny was a devoted wife and mother. She dedicated her life to her husband and family. She excelled at sewing, knitting, crotcheting, gardening, cooking, and enjoyed the many hours spent at it. Jennys pallbearers will be Les Czoch, Randy Gowler, Raymond Cook, Tyson Cook, Brant Cook and Fred Wilson. We wish to express our thanks to Dr. Mehta and the staff on the 6th floor at the St. Boniface Hospital. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., R3C 9Z9. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30 at 10:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
