DOROTHY ANNE RODGERS (nee GOETHE) 1916 - 2002 Peacefully on August 29, 2002 at the Riverview Health Centre, Dorothy passed away at the age of 86 years. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her son Michael, daughter-in-law Agnis and grandson Mikey. Her memory will also be cherished by her brother-in-law Clarence (Clarice) Shillingford, three nieces, one nephew, their families and by many close friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Jessie Baker, sister Rust (1988), Kay (1991) and Peggy (2001). She was born on February 28, 1916 in Elkhorn, MB. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She loved and cherished her time with her grandson Mikey and always had a treat for him upon his visits. Dorothy enjoyed family gatherings, bridge games with her friends and travel. Dorothy lived much of her life in Regina, SK and worked for Sears for many years. Upon her retirement from Sears she moved to Winnipeg to be closer to her two sisters, Kay and Peggy. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
