ELIZABETH MONICA MILLS (nee GRAY) "MONA" Peacefully, on Thursday, August 29, 2002, Mona Mills, aged 91, passed away at the St. Boniface General Hospital with family by her side. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lona, Colleen (Allen), and Joani (Howie) grandchildren, Holly, Lorne, Nancy (Marc), Angela, April and Carla; great-grandson Aaron and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lorne; son-in-law David; five brothers and one sister. Mom was a long-time resident of East Kildonan. She had a great sense of humour and loved to share her stories of the old days. Mom enjoyed bingo, bowling, cards, trips to Grand Beach, gardening and her home. She participated in the Manitoba Senior Olympics for many years and won "All Around Champion" in 1977. Special thanks to the staff on 5E at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness. A private interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
