WILHELM PETTI (WILLIE) May 27, 1943 - August 30,2002 On Friday, August 30, 2002, with his family by his side, Wilhelm Petti, aged 59 years, left this world to be with God. Wilhelm was predeceased by his father, Ferdinand and his mother, Theresia (Austria). Wilhelm leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 27 years, Pauline; son Willi (Tara) daughter Patty; granddaughters, Brayana, Denae and Chandra. He is also survived by daughters, Sylvia and Ursula and their families of Winnipeg; son Werner and daughter Michaela and their families of Vienna, Austria; sister Terri (Eric) of Lac Du Bonnet; brother Stefan (Maria) and sister Ann of Burgenland, Austria, as well as other family members and friends. Dad was born in Burgenland, Austria, in 1943, and came to Canada in 1967. Dad was a hard worker and worked in the construction business for over 30 years as a driller. He enjoyed many hours of fun and games with his granddaughters who held a very special place in his heart. Dad had a kind heart and his kindness and generosity will be long remembered. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, also at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with Father Robert Bernardin officiating. Interment and a reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Wilhelms memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
