JENNY LAVALLEE May 15, 1981 - August 25, 2002 On Sunday, August 25 at her home, our cherished Jenny lost her battle with life at the tender age of 21. She leaves to mourn her passing her mother Barbara; father Dan; sister Lindsay; niece Jordan; brother-in-law Scott; sons, Joshua and Brady and her birth mother Lynn. Also left to carry on her spirit are numerous aunts and uncles and a wealth of long time friends and newly formed friendships. Jenny touched the lives of all who knew and loved her. She spread her generosity and kindness on a daily basis, as there was never a task too great if someone was in need of her help. She was a bright, beautiful and articulate girl and a person of rare qualities. Her smile and presence would light a room the moment she entered. Her soul was as pure and gentle as the first fallen snow and if you had ever been so privileged enough to love her, then God and you must know. At Jennys request cremation has taken place so that she can be at rest with us at home. A service of remembrance will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., on Friday, September 6 at 2:00 p.m. with Charlotte Novak officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jennys memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society. In her passing she will be cherished within our hearts and carried in the "Arms of the Angels." God looked around His garden, And found an empty space, He then looked down upon The earth and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest, Gods garden must be beautiful He takes only the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain. He knew the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered, "Peace be thine" It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
