Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY-LOUISE STELMACH With her family by her side Mary-Louise has passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2002. Mourning her death are husband Bill of 47 years; son Lorne (Michelle) daughters, Patti (Mel), Kim (Mich), Lisa (David) grandchildren, Jennifer and Candace; great-granddaughter Stacey Jean; sisters, Harriet, Jean (Herb) brothers, Bert (Eve), George (Eve) sisters-in-law, Vangie and Julie. She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Fred, Tubby and Sandy; sister Margaret; brothers-in-law, Ed Grenier and Marcel Van Damme. Mary-Louise was born in 1929 to parents Engelbert and Helene Nys. She was raised in Winnipeg and attended King George, Isaac Brock and St. Marys Schools; St. Marys Church and St. Bernadette Church. In 1955 she married Bill and they had four children. Family life was what Mary-Louise loved best. Her greatest experience was that of being a wife and mother. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Balko, nurses and staff at the 6th floor Family Medicine St. Boniface Hospital for their care and support. Also the compassionate support from family and friends, especially Barbara Gorman for her daily care and concern, also Diane Johnson, sisters Harriet and Jean, sister-in-law Julie and friend Inga who supported her through her struggle with lymphoma and Parkinsons disease. Cremation has taken place with a private interment at St. Boniface Cemetery. A private family memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society or the Parkinsons Society.
