Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHERMINIO MASESAR July 20, 1953 - August 31, 2002 Suddenly on August 31, 2002 Herminio Masesar passed away at the age of 49. Herminio will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 27 years Nenita and their children, Mary Ann and Rex; as well as his parents, Hugo and Fe. Also left to mourn Herminios passing are his four sisters and six brothers, Ofelia (Manuel) Garcia, Virgilio (Erlinda), Pio (Erlinda), Gil (Rebecca), Onofre (Melba), Cecilia (Jessie) Comaling, Elda (Doming) Fabian, Hugo Jr. (Sally), Othello (Angie), Charito (Edwin) Gambalan. Herminio will also be missed by his extended family members and friends. Herminio grew up in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1970. Herminio worked at Versatile for many years. Herminio enjoyed working on cars, fishing and spending time with his family and was always ready to fix whatever needed to be fixed around the house. Herminio enjoyed the company of Astra and Prima, two family pets, with which he had a special bond. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the paramedics and the Health Sciences Emergency staff for all their care and kindness. Pallbearers are as follows, Gil Masesar, Frank Deluz, Othello Masesar, Doming Fabian, Francis Supnet, Jhun Masesar and Jun Batiforra. Lamay will be held on Thursday, September 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 6 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Edwards Church at 818 Arlington Ave., with interment and reception following at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
