DONALD EDWIN PALEN It is with great sadness that we announce that most suddenly and unexpectedly, on Sunday, September 1, 2002, Donald Edwin Palen passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 34 years. Donald was a loving and cherished father, son, brother and friend. He leaves to mourn his only son Devon; his parents, William and Pearl; sisters, Trina (Alan), Tammy and Linda (Sid) nephews, Randy, Ryan, Wesley and Jason; nieces, Dianna and Alesha; along with many other various aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. "We all miss you, Donald" A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 5 at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. All are welcome to come. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Milbrook Cemetery, off Dugald Road. Following the service there will be a light lunch at Dugald Curling Rink. Donations may be made in Donalds name to Mental Health Foundation, 432 Ellice, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2Y5. I could not stay another day To laugh and love, to work, or play, Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My lifes been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Dont lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me God wanted me now, He set me free.
