RONALD LITTLE It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ronald S., on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at Wawanesa Hospital. He leaves behind his wife Marie of 45 years; daughter Susan (Amos) Broomfield of Winnipeg; sons, Terry (Jana) and grandchildren, Colby and Karlee Little of Ninette, and Kenny Little of Brandon. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Nora and John Dafoe in 2000. Ron was born September 26, 1935 in Winnipeg and moved to Killarney in his early teens where he met the love of his life Marie. Marie and Ron were married in 1957. Together they raised their three wonderful children who he was so very proud of. Ron did many things in his short life, farmed, worked at and then ran a printing shop but the love of his country roots called him home to Ninette where he took over his fathers business, Ninette Lumber Yard. Rons biggest battle came in 1995 when he was diagnosed with cancer. Ron with the love and support of his family and friends won the battle even if the road seemed long and dark. There were two very big and wonderful lights, the birth of his grandchildren, Colby and Karlee, who he cherished with all his heart. The family would like to thank all of Rons doctors in Winnipeg and Wawanesa. To the nurses and staff at Wawanesa Hospital, thank you so very much for the excellent care and extra things you did to make Rons stay a comfortable one. Ron was laid to rest on Tuesday, September 3, 2002 in Ninette Cemetery.
