JOSEPH HERVI LIONEL FILLION It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Joseph Hervi Lionel Fillion, better known as Harvey or Frenchie. Born November 17, 1926 at St. Nazaire Dorch, Que. Harvey moved to Manitoba in the late 1950s and in the late 1990s made his residence in British Columbia. On August 28, 2002 after suffering a double heart attack at Burnaby, BC. Harvey has joined his wife Rachel Fillion (nee Abraham/Bird) whom he first met in 1960 and finally exchanging vows in 1968. To honour his last wishes, Harvey was cremated in British Columia and his ashes will be brought to be buried and spread over his wifes grave. Harveys memory will be cherished by special daughter Valerie Vandal (Alan). Valerie was there by his side during his final moments. He also leaves to cherish his memory his sons from the heart, Frank (Rhonda), Bill (Carol), Donald, Felix, George, Abraham (Aggie). Also daughters from the heart, Mabel Starr (Doug) and Marg Seymour (Henry). There are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special granddaughter Charlene Soldat; brothers, Alfie and Emmie. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, September 4 and Thursday, September 5 at the Little Black River Band Hall. Funeral service to be held on Friday, September 6 at the Little Black River Church at 1:30 p.m. Thank you to all who gave the family their love and support.
