ERIC SEXTON JANSSON On August 27, 2002, in Portage la Prairie, Eric Jansson passed away in his 94th year. He is survived by his wife Ingeborg, daughter Margaret Kristof (Dale) of Portage la Prairie, grandsons, Eric Kristof (Lisa), and Danny Kristof (Diane). Eric also leaves brothers, Walter Jansson and Evert Jansson along with their families; and sister Gata Carlson. Eric was born on October 31, 1908 in Sweden and immigrated with his parents to Canada. He grew up in Broadlands, MB and worked for Manitoba Hydro. He lived in his home in White Mud Falls along the Winnipeg River until June of 2002, when he moved to the Douglas Campbell Lodge in Portage la Prairie. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pine Falls United Church.
