DOROTHY LITTLE Peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2002 at 8:30 p.m. at Central Park Lodge, 440 Edmonton St., Dorothy Little passed away at the age of 67 years. Dorothy was born on August 14, 1935 at Island Lake, MB and had resided in Garden Hill her entire life. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory children, Pauline Flett (John), Tina Flett (Jude), Leonard Flett (Lorraine), Beatrice McPherson (Albert), Rita Harper (Alpheus), Tannis Wood (Raymond), Brenda Monias (Jefferson), Robert Little (Kimberly) and Verlin Little; two brothers, Levi Flett and Nelson Flett; 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Jonas on May 27, 2002, brother Moses Flett and sister-in-law Annie Flett. Prayers were said on Wednesday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6 at Garden Hill, MB. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 1:00 p.m. at the Garden Hill United Church, with Rev. Jacob Keno officiating. Interment to follow at Garden Hill Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Central Park Lodge, 440 Edmonton St., especially Jean and the dialysis unit for the care and kindness given to our mother.
