ARPAD BARKASZ Tragically in Winnipeg on August 24, 2002, Arpad passed on to his maker. Born at Csencer, Hungary in 1936, he later immigrated to Canada in 1957, where he enjoyed sports such as hockey, soccer and horse racing. Arpad was employed by Daves Auto most of his life in Canada. For the past few years he has been working for Asperline Transmission and will be missed by all his coworkers. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, September 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hungarian House, 443 Selkirk Ave. He will be missed by his many friends.
