EDITH MARY BURRELL Died August 22, 2002 at Meadow Manor in Winnipeg. She is survived by two daughters, Millicent Quesnel and Buffy Burrell; four granddaughters, Cheryl Anderson, Cindy Quesnel (Lyle), Melody Gauthier and Tracy Holmes (Peter) two grandsons, Nelson Pruder (Michelle) and Wayne Pruder; 12 great-granddaughters and four great-grandsons; sisters-in-law, Phoebe Bickle and Robin Roberts; brothers-in-law, Parker and Charlie Burrell. Edith was predeceased by her husband Edmund Burrell; her two sons, Nelson and Clive Pruder; her mother and father Flora and Alex Bickle; her brother Nelson Bickle; and sister Dorothy Phripp. Edith was born in Winnipegosis in 1914. She lived most of her life in Northern Manitoba, where she raised her first three children. In 1947 she married Edmund Burrell with whom she had one daughter, Buffy. They lived in Flin Flon until Edmund passed away. She worked at the Wascana Inn until her retirement. Edith was always available with her help, wisdom, love and courage whenever it was needed. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dawson Bay Community Hall.
