ANGELA DABRAMO It is with great sadness, the family announces the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, sister Angela DAbramo on September 4, 2002 at Riverview Health Centre. After a lengthy illness, our mother peacefully passed away to be reunited with our Dad, Ugo, in eternal rest. Left to cherish Angelas memory are her daughters, Joanne Evinger (Tim), grandson Mathew of Winnipeg, and Luisa DAbramo (Brent) of Winnipeg; sister Anna Giannini (Gino) of Winnipeg. She also leaves behind two sisters and one brother in Italy, and one brother in New Zealand, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear and close friends. Angela was born in Boiano, Italy on February 26, 1937. She met the love of her life (Ugo) when she was 16 and then moved to Canada to be with him in 1959. She became a seamstress for many years until our Dad and his partners opened Vesuvio Restaurant. Angela devoted many years working alongside her husband Ugo at both Vesuvio locations. Angela was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and devoted friend. She was extremely generous and doting to her grandson Mathew, her pride and joy. Prayers will be held on Friday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Angelas life will take place on Saturday, September 7 at 10:00 a.m., also at Holy Rosary Church, with Father Michael Savarimuthu officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Angel Mausoleum, Highway No. 1 and Navin Road, in the Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tim Evinger, Brent Pearen, Gino Giannini, Luciano Costa, Carmen la Rosa and Vito Sacino. We love you and well miss you dearly. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at 3 East in Riverview Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 9Z9.
