Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER F. DERKSON 1914 - 2002 Suddenly, but peacefully, Peter passed away at his home on August 30, 2002. Born in Winkler, MB on March 1, 1914 to Frank and Maria Derksen (nee Leiding), he was a longtime resident of Fort Garry. Peter is survived by his son Gary and daughter Holly Mapes, and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Justina in December 1989. A celebration of Peters life will take place on Saturday, September 7 at 11:00 a.m. in Donnelly United Church, 1229 Waller Ave., Fort Garry.
