He was born on July 7, 1922, to Isaac and Elizabeth Hoeppner at their home south of Morden. As a young man, Peter accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized in the Glencross Mennonite Church in 1943. His earnest desire to be a living testimony for the Lord was very evident in his life. Peter was predeceased by one daughter and one grandson, both in infancy, and by three brothers and six sisters. The funeral service will be held Friday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. at the Morden E.M.M. Church, 610 1st St., Morden. Interment to follow at the Glencross Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada, 825 Sherbrook St. Suite 204, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5 or to the Glencross Church Building Fund.
