ALICE FLORENCE SVEINSON-JONES (nee JOEL) Passed away at the Grace Hospital on Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at the age of 81 years, Alice Florence Sveinson-Jones (nee Joel) of Winnipeg. Alice leaves to mourn her passing her children, Edwin and Betty (grandchildren, Svein and Jenny) of Grand Manan, NB, Lynda Sveinson of Toronto, ON, Allan and Lorna of Winnipeg; brother Herman (Pearl) Joel of Glenboro; sisters, Ethel Skardal of Winnipeg, Ann (Bill) Biles of Glenboro; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Alice was predeceased by her husbands, Svein Sveinson in 1966 and by Jim Jones in 2000. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Baldur Cemetery, with Pastor Don Miller officiating.
