ALI ABDULLAH GAZIE
Date of Passing: Aug 31, 2002
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALI ABDULLAH GAZIE Peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2002 in Parksville, BC. Dad resided in England for many years developing a love for both steak and kidney pie and the perfect garden, before settling in Winnipeg in 1968 to raise his family. After leaving Versatile in 1997, he enjoyed his retirement on Vancouver Island. He and Anna spent many happy moments strolling the beautiful beaches, or just sitting on a favourite log and drinking in the peace of the sea. Dad in his floppy beach hat was a familiar sight that will remain forever in our memories. Dad will be missed by his devoted wife of 41 years, Anna-Leena; son Feisal (Cathy) Gazie and grandchildren, Omar, Hillary and Sarah; daughter Laila (David) McNicholl and grandchildren, Adeana and Janine, as well as numerous nephews and nieces overseas. The family wishes to thank Drs., Mitenko and Desai for their compassionate care; the staff of Trillium Lodge for making his last months comfortable; Rev. Twiddy and dear friends Carmen and Nageeb, and Gina and John for their tireless support. Following Dads wishes, quiet services were held. Dad, you will always be remembered.
