Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVALERIE GRENIER (nee BRUNEAU) January 30, 1947 - August 27, 2002 Valerie Grenier, beloved wife of Norman, passed away peacefully in St. Jerome, QC, after a courageous battle with cancer. Valerie was born in Pine Falls, MB, and raised in Lac du Bonnet, MB. Besides her loving husband, she will be deeply missed by her daughter Nina and her son Jason, both of Morin Heights, QC, to whom she devoted her life; her mother and stepfather, Eve and Andy Desaunoy of Nakusp, BC; brothers, Dennis and Sharron Bruneau of Calgary and Ben and Wendy Bruneau of Nakusp; sister Lisa and David Mang of Nakusp; stepsister Jackie and Paul Goalen of Calgary; nieces, Sherry Ettenauer and Claudia and Olivia Mang; and nephews, Sean Bruneau, Cory Bruneau, and Bradley and Brett Johnson. She will also be deeply missed by the Grenier family in Quebec, her brother-in-law, Lawrence Grenier, of Nakusp, and her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Valerie was predeceased by her father, Fern Bruneau, in 1987. A memorial service will be held at a later date. If friends and family so desire, donations may be made in her memory directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 215 - 12 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB, T2G 1A2. Valerie will be remembered as a kind and compassionate woman who loved her family deeply and faced her illness bravely with strength and fortitude. "We will always love and cherish you. God be with you til we meet again."
