GERTRUDE FLORENCE LOUISE HEDGES Gertrude passed away on September 1, 2002 at the Oakview Extendicare Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her brothers, Albert (Bert), Vancouver, Ernest and sister-in-law Marguerite, London, ON. She is survived by her niece Doreen Thompson (Bill), London, ON, great nieces, Patricia Allen and her children, Lindsay and Bradley, Calgary, AB, Julia Yake, London, ON, great nephew Warren Yake (Pat) and their children, Jeffrey and Taylor, London, ON, sister-in-law Hilda Hedges, New Westminster, BC. Cremation has take place. At Gertrudes request there will be a short service at her graveside in Brookside Cemetery. Rev. Robin Mather officiating. Thank you to the nurses and staff (2nd floor) Oakview Nursing Home for their compassionate care shown to Gertrude.
