MARGARET VIOLET BITTERN "CUP A TEA" Suddenly on Friday, September 6, 2002 at Berens River, Margaret passed away at the age of five years. Margaret was born at the St. Boniface Hospital on January 23, 1997. She did not like her name Margaret and preferred to be called "Cup A Tea". Cup A Tea loved to jig, especially her sexy dance. She learned her jigging from her grandfather Ronald (Balo). Her favourite song and dance was Pretty Woman Walking Down the Street. She was excited about going to Berens River School but unfortunately, due to her passing, did not attend. She loved her sister Hailey whom she looked after. She will be sadly missed especially by her mother, brothers and sister and two special friends, Fawn Mason and Connie Hudson. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her mother Wilma Bittern; stepdad Kevin; two brothers, Martin and Harry and one sister Hailey; grandparents, Ronald Green and Violet Patrick; step-grandparents, George and Janice Clark. Great-grandmother Nora Patrick and great-great-grandmother Mary Rose Berens. There are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her dad Bernard Bittern on August 29, 2001; brother Francis Bittern on November 25, 1998; sister Karrianna Goosehead on September 23, 2000; grandparents Harry Bittern on September 26, 1996, Helen Bittern on November 29, 1990, Andy Hudson on September 29, 1986 and great-grandfather Sandy Patrick on February 4, 1995. Prayers and wake service will be held on Tuesday, September 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue at Parr. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, September 11 and Thursday, September 12 at the residence of Nora Patrick. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m. at the Berens River Roman Catholic Church, Berens River, MB with Fr. Rheal Forest Officiating. Interment to follow at Berens River Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Preston Bittern, Logan Hudson, Allan Berens, Jeffrey Green, Gerald Patrick and Kelsey Patrick.
