A. CAMPBELL McINNIS MD, FRCOG, FRCS (Canada) After a brief illness on Saturday, August 31, 2002. Born in Owen Sound, ON, longtime resident of Winnipeg and more recently of Mississauga, ON. Well known Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, who practiced in Winnipeg for 35 years. Dr. McInnis received his MD from the University of Manitoba. After completing his British graduate work and degree, he obtained his Canadian Fellowship degree. In 1954 he was appointed to St. Boniface Hospital staff and remained there for 35 years. He was closely involved with the RH factor blood transfusion process for unborn babies. This was a pioneering project which gave lives to many babies who were treated. Cam McInnis spent many happy summers at the familys island, Minaki, ON and later at Clearwater Bay, ON. Surviving are two children, Patrick and Leslie; one grandchild Catherine Anne McInnis; sister Mrs. R. S. Cunningham (Puddy) and brother Fraser McInnis.
