Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) ROSEN 1942 - 2002 It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Bill Rosen on August 22, 2002, 11 days before his 60th birthday. He will forever be cherished and loved by his life partner of 37 years, Sandra; children, Harriet (Grant), Jackie and Hartley; grandson, Matthew; mother, Mary; brother, Phil (Eileen) and numerous other close family and friends. Bill was born in Winnipeg on September 2, 1942. His life was one of kindness and selfless dedication to all those that he cared about. Willing to help and support us on a moments notice, our friend was always close when we needed him. Everyone he met has at least a story or two that exemplified this generosity. Bill grew up in the north end of Winnipeg, attended St. Johns High School, and received his degree in business from the University of North Dakota. For 28 years he owned and managed his own carpet installation business, providing great service and quality work to thousands of people across Canada, mostly in Winnipeg. He was a fair and honest businessman to all of his clients and employees. Bills other passion was in his volunteer work with the River Heights Community Centre. For nearly 20 years Bill devoted countless hours volunteering as coach, scheduler, referee-in-chief and convenor for numerous soccer and hockey leagues. His competitiveness and love of sport as well as devotion to youth development was his legacy to the community. The family would like to send a special thank you to Aneita and Bernie Gunn, Joan and Kerrie Souster, and the many friends and relatives that have tirelessly been here for us in support through this difficult time. We love you. Donations can be made in Bills memory to the River Heights Community Centre soccer program and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We will always love and miss our son, our husband, our father, our zaida, our friend.

I knew Bill in the days of the International Inn Hotel. He was there to replace the carpets in the hotel. He was very good and took pride in what he did. He was always friendly. My condolences to his family. Robert Duehmig - Posted by: Robert Duehmig (Aquaintence) on: Dec 29, 2015
