ANNA LOUISE RICHTER On Saturday, September 7, 2002, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away in her 100th year at the Grace Hospital. She is survived by her son Bill and wife Cecile; daughters, Rita Laidlaw and Linda Sopiwnyk and husband Wally; 16 grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her husband John; daughters, Lily, Ivy and Jean; son Raymond; and grandson Curtis Demery. As one of Jehovahs Witnesses, she was always ready to share her strong belief and hope of the earth being restored to a paradise free from sickness, sorrow and death. (Revelation 21: 3, 4). Besides reading the Bible daily, she spent many satisfying hours knitting hundreds of pairs of slippers, scarves and mitts for anyone she came in contact with. A thank you to family and many friends who visited Mom through the years. She truly appreciated their kindness. The greatest joy of her life which she expressed many times, was to see her children and grandchildren "walk in the way of the truth." A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall Centre of Jehovahs Witnesses, 227 Lakewood Blvd., with Mr. David Lenych officiating. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to the world-wide Bible education work in care of The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, Box 4100, Georgetown, ON.
