Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGUERITE PELLETIER (nee PICHETTE) Peacefully surrounded by her family, our Mom at age 91 passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2002, at Foyer Valade. She was predeceased by her husband Napoleon (Nap), daughter Yvonne and son-in-law George, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, four sisters, one brother, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jeannette (Jack) Van Buekenhout, Raymond (Audrey) Pelletier, Robert (Raymonde) Pelletier, Claudette (John) Shoup, Denise (Maurice) Prejet, Gilbert (Brenda) Pelletier, Philippe (Yvonne) Pelletier, Bernice (Renald) Paul; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; brother France (Geralda) Pichette; sisters-in-law, Noella Pichette, Jeanne Pelletier and Rosanne Pelletier; numerous nieces and nephews. Mom was widowed at an early age and devoted her entire life to her nine children. We thank her first and foremost for her undivided love, tenacity, courage and strength. She kept her family together despite the many obstacles she faced over the years. Mom was employed at the St. Boniface Hospital as a supervisor in the housekeeping department for many years. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed sewing and knitting for her family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will treasure the memories of her creations. While she was a resident of Foyer Vincent she was active on many committees and could always be counted to help where needed. Some of her favourite pastimes were playing cards, travelling and doing the jumble. We will remember her chocolate cake and the rice krispie squares and the many other gifts that she gave us over the years. By far the most special time for Mom was Christmas Eve when she was surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Eglise Precieux-Sang, 202 Kenny St., with Fr. Isaie Blanchette, O.M.I. officiating. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Foyer Valade Building Project, 450, chemin River, Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4, or the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Foyer Valade for their care and compassion shown to our mother and family. Mom, Memere, we love you and we will miss you. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
