THOMAS DIDUR It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Didur, on Sunday, September 8, 2002 at the age of 76. He passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Tom was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his wife, Stefania; her children, Roger Havrilenko (Matthew, Natasha), Wally Havrilenko and Michela Rhodes, Olha and Greg Hnatyshyn (Cindy, Melanie), Tony and Lori Havrilenko (Steffani, Victoria). Tom is also survived and will be missed by his children, Larry Didur, Robin and Ann Didur (Robin Jr., Casey), Rory and Sharon McGill (Ashley, Courtney). Tom was born and raised in Winnipeg. He was a compassionate and kind person. Tom worked for the CNR as a locomotive engineer and retired in 1986 with 39 years of service. Upon his retirement, Tom and Stefanie enjoyed many winter getaways in Mexico, Cuba and their favourite Hawaii. Playing the slots was also an enjoyable pastime. He loved getting together to cheer his Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Jets. Tom will also be missed by his friends at Legion No. 141, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Y.M.C.A. A big thank-you to Dr. James Boyd and the nursing staff of the 5th floor for their care and compassion during his illness. According to Toms wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 11 at 2:45 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Fr. B. Kyba of St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church presiding. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, 4535 Main St. Vichnaya PamYat CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
