MARGUERITE ELIZABETH MacIVER 1921 - 2002 On September 7, 2002, Marguerite MacIver of Edmonton passed away at the age of 81 years. She was born on July 30, 1921 in La Riviere, MB. Marguerite is lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years Norman; her daughter Catherine (Robert) de Frece; daughter Betty MacIver; son Donald (Sherry) MacIver; two granddaughters, Laura and Christine de Frece; two grandsons, Elden and Andy MacIver; her sister Florence McCannell of Winnipeg; her brother Lawrence (Mina) Esler of La Riviere; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marguerite was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ida Esler. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Marguerites life will be held at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Chapel, 10008 - 103 St., Edmonton, AB on Thursday, September 12 at 3:30 p.m., with Rev. Ed Scarlett officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in memory of Marguerite to the Alberta Lung Association, P.O. Box 4500, Station S, Edmonton, AB T6E 9Z9. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to the staff at the Good Samaritan Millwoods Centre for their care and compassion.
