SERGIO P. ESTEVES March 24, 1929 - September 9, 2002 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather Sergio Esteves on Monday, September 9, 2002 at the Concordia Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Serafina Esteves in March 2000. He leaves to mourn his son Joe and his wife Dominique Esteves; his grandchildren, Kylie and Paul; his brothers, Sebastiao (Fernanda) and Julio (Aida) his nieces and nephews, Julio (Josie) and their children Michayla and Peter, Joe and his daughter Josefa, Margaret (Augusto) and their son Diogo, Victor (Amy), Suzan; as well as many other family in Portugal. Sergio immigrated to Canada in 1960; shortly after, he began working for Inco in Thompson, MB where he was employed for 30 years. Sergio had a love for his garden and his wine making. To Sergio, his family and grandchildren meant everything to him. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, with a viewing one hour prior to the service, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment will take place in the Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre.
