Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD "RON" BROWN Ronald Alexander Brown passed away suddenly on September 11, 2002, at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 61. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his children, Brad, Shannon, Shawn, Karen and Dean; his grandchildren, Ryan and Shaun; his brothers, Barry (Donna), Rick; former wife Bonnie; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Rons friends and colleagues of 17 Wing Winnipeg Warrant Officers and Sergeants Mess, curling and golf club, will also miss him greatly. Ron joined the R.C.A.F. in 1962 and retired after serving 33 years. He was a member of St. James Legion No. 4. A service of remembrance will take place on Tuesday, September 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Silver Avenue at Whytewold Road. I first met Ron in Summerside PEI and later we were both posted to Winnipeg. Ron and I curled together in both Summerside and Winnipeg and were very good friends for a long time. I want to pass my very late condolences on to his family. I just got around to writing this as I knew of Ron’s passing but have never looked up the obituairies until now.
