DAMA SINGH Peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2002, Dama Singh passed away at Concordia Hospital at the age of 74 years. Dama will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sat (Cheryl), Raj (Girlie), Patti (Matthew), Kamla; eight grandchildren; one brother Dhananji; three sisters, Leila, Madri, Daishee. She was predeceased by two sons, Jai, Gewan. Dama moved to Canada in 1979 from Guyana. Her love for children was the reason for her taking on the challenge of baby-sitting. She became part of every family that she sat for. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 17 at 10:00 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Interment will follow at Garry Memorial Park, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. We miss you now, our hearts are sore, As time goes by we miss you more, Your loving smile, your gentle face, No one can fill your vacant place. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. The girls and I think of her so often. She was my saviour while I was busy working.. She played a big part in Natasha and Samantha's life.
