IRENE DUCK Tragically on Saturday, September 7, 2002 Irene Duck passed away at the age of 39 years. Irene was born at Bloodvein on August 14, 1963, moving to Winnipeg in 1974, and later in 1996 moved to Selkirk, MB until the time of her death. Irene was a shy person, but had a heart of gold, always willing to help others. Her laughter and smile will be sadly missed. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her son Clinton; parents, Agnes and Raymond Duck; three sisters, Margaret Cowey (Charles), Alvina Duck (Delard Vincent) and Brenda Stefanishyn (Lawrence) six brothers, Arvin, Norman, Cyril, Ronald, Ronnie and Larry. There are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Pamela Duck and brother Ralph Duck. Prayers and wake services were held on Wednesday, September 11 at 7:00 p.m. and will be held on Thursday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Menno Wiebe officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
