Offer Condolences or MemoryBETTY ELLEN SMITH (nee WELLARD) Born in Winnipeg, May 23, 1922. Passed away September 11, 2002, in Whakatane, New Zealand. Betty is survived by her loving husband Gordon; six children, Daphne, Dianne, Judy, Gordon, Verna and Wendy; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Betty is also survived by her loving brothers, Gerry Wellard of Comox, BC, and Brian Wellard of Winnipeg. Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
