JOSEPH NOE REMILLARD September 21, 1921- September 17, 2002 Peacefully on Tuesday, September 17, 2002, with his wife Pearl and six children by his side, Joseph (Noe) Remillard passed away at the age of 80 at St. Boniface Hospital. Noe was predeceased by his parents Cyrill and Jeanne; his brother Maurice and two sisters, Aline and Jeanne. Noe was very proud to serve his country in the Second World War and during the war he married his best friend (Pearl) and began to raise the family he was so proud of. Noe spent 35 years working for Shell Oil Refinery in St. Boniface and retired in 1983. He spent the next 19 years enjoying life and his prized possession, his family. Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 58 years, Pearl and their six children, Raymond (Lillian), Annette Banera (Trent), Louise Ferguson (Robert), Denis (Patricia), Elizabeth Carpenter (William), Lester (Barb) two sisters, Rolande (Paul) and Dianne (Jack), 19 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, 13 nieces and nephews. To his family, Noe leaves a legacy of strength and humour and will forever be in their hearts and minds. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dustin Remillard, Jeremy Remillard, Donald Carpenter, Kris Remillard, Michael Krawchuk, Glen Alan, Jeffery Remillard and Robert Remillard. Many thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital on 5E and 6E for their care and compassion. A funeral mass celebrating Noes life will be held on Friday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. in the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St., with Father Ron Leger officiating. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimers Society or The Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to: EDWARD J.
