Pearl (or Iris as she was known to many) was predeceased by her husband Edward Solinske; and will be missed and remembered by her children, Ed (Penny) Solinske, Al Solinske (Judith Ahearn), Gloria (Dan) Combot, Bob Solinske (Suzanne Riesenberger) and her grandchildren, Angela Solinske and Kyle, Dylan, Brendan and Tanner Combot. She is also survived by her brother Tony Brehm; and her sisters, Shirley Gill and Gloria Brehm. Pearl was born on April 27, 1931, in Leader, SK. She moved to Winnipeg to enter into nursing school at the Misericordia Hospital where she graduated with a RN nursing degree in 1953. Pearl worked many happy years as a nurse in Winnipeg until her retirement in 1996. In 1953 Pearl married Edward Solinske with whom she shared 45 wonderful years of marriage. Pearl was a gentle, loving, kind spirit who was deeply devoted to her family. Her family was her life. She will be deeply missed by her family as well as those who had come to know her warmth, kindness and sweet nature. Pearls passing leaves a tremendous gap; yet we are strengthened by the example she set and by the love she gave. We will miss her always. The Solinske family wishes to thank Concordia Hospital and staff for their care and compassion during her final hours.
