Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD WILLIAM BILLINGTON After a life of gentleness and kindness, and a lengthy battle with leukemia, Harold passed over on September 17, 2002. Born on June 2, 1921, in Winnipeg, MB, and retiring to Kelowna, BC, in 1989, he leaves to mourn his son John and daughter Janet (Jon Harling) all of Kelowna, BC; sister Irene Reed of Winnipeg; nieces, Diane Aseltine and Barbara OMalley; and nephews, Gordon Reed and Donald Mackay. Harold was predeceased by his loving wife and life partner Evelyn in 1995; parents, William and Kathrine; sister Evelyn Kennedy; and nephew Harold Kennedy. Harold served in the Second World War in the Canadian Navy and was a member of the Combined Operations. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, and retired from Colgate-Palmolive after 32 years of service in 1980. No service at Harolds request. Our heartfelt thanks to all staff at Kelowna General Hospital for their care and attention to Dad in his last weeks of life.
