Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONE LETTNER Peacefully, on September 17, 2002, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Leone Lettner passed away at the age of 71 years. Born in Winnipeg at the Misercordia Hospital on June 21, 1931. She was predeceased by her parents, Irene and Steven Kozar; and her husband Edward Egon Lettner. Leone leaves to celebrate her life, her two sons, David and Bruce; her grandsons, Ryan and Thomas; and her daughter-in-law Charlotte; and her half-brother Steven Kozar Jr. Leone was proud of her Ukrainian Heritage which in her younger years was enriching. After a varied career in advertising, life insurance, real estate, she was employed by Transport Canada for 19 years and retired in December 1989. She loved animals and always had a pet. Ginger, her cat had a good home for 17 years and was her dear companion. In spite of many adversities during her lifetime she always had a "Joie De Vivre" and a sense of humour. In accordance with Leones wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (South of the Royal Canadian Mint). A private interment has taken place in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to her lifetime friend Peter Boretski who passed away in 2001, and a special thanks to a valued friend Joan MacAulay who just recently passed away. Their friendships were treasured!
